The History of The Republic of Anovkova

Anovkovan culture has firm roots in a rich and plentiful history
The Republic of Anovkova is linked to the rich historical tradition of the Anovkovan Crown Lands.

Originally, these lands were independent monarchies ruled by Nobles
Among these nobles was Ladislav Novakova, Ruler of Ladislavia, the largest of the monarchies

It was his dream to unite the Nobles and form one land.
Each Nobility would be part of the whole, each supporting and assisting each other for the common good of all.
He wanted to achieve this not by conquest but through peaceful means.

Ladislav called upon his young daughter Anna to transform his dream into reality
She was a brilliant negotiator - The other Nobles quickly agreed and "The Crown Lands" were formed.

But what to call this new land? She asked. The nobles pondered this for a time and decided that they would honor
her for her vision and determination by using a variation of her name "Anna Novakova"
And "The Anovkovan Crown Lands" were born.
The people, now united, prospered and the land flourished.
The dream of a king had become reality through the determination of his young daughter.

Today that legacy continues. In 2006, Anna Novakova, a descendant, realized that the time had come - the time of Monarchies were drawing to a close. At the age of 22 she undertook a great task - To transform the Crown lands of her ancestors into an actual nation. A Republic that would be a beacon of democracy and civil liberty in central Europe.

Born of aristocracy herself, she again gathered the nobles and forged from them the first parliament.
Together they drew up a constitution guided by the values that had for centuries made the Crown Lands so successful.

"The Republic of Anovkova" was born!

The Anovkovan Crown Lands had been one of the most advanced nations of its time, and the new Republic would be no different.

It remains an active international partner cooperating with, and assisting many democratic countries throughout the world.
